Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain for speech-language pathology
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or in pursuit of CFY with strong mentorship desire
- Previous experience in school settings or pediatric caseloads is highly desirable
- Proficiency in conducting assessments, developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and implementing evidence-based therapy
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Adaptability to meet diverse needs in both individual and group sessions
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in alignment with educational goals
- Document student progress, maintain accurate records, and provide regular updates to staff and families
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with classroom teachers, parents, and other specialists
- Offer strategies, resources, and recommendations for classroom support
- Advocate for students’ needs and foster a supportive learning environment
