Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Arizona
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred; strong CFY candidates also considered
- Prior experience in school, pediatric, or healthcare settings is highly valued
- Familiarity with a range of communication disorders and age-appropriate intervention techniques
- Strong collaboration skills and comfort working within multi-disciplinary teams
- Ability to manage IEP process, documentation, and parent communication with professionalism
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing assessments
- Design and deliver individualized therapy plans for students with diverse needs
- Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and other support staff to maximize student outcomes
- Participate in IEP meetings, contributing expert input to student education plans
- Track progress, maintain accurate records, and regularly communicate with families
