Speech Language Pathologist in Meriden, CT
Step into a rewarding school-based speech-language pathologist position serving high school students throughout the 2026–2027 academic year. This full-time contract opportunity includes a dynamic caseload of approximately 50–60 students, allowing you to make a meaningful impact in diverse educational settings. Alongside your primary focus within a high school environment, you’ll also have the chance to support students attending out-of-district (OOD) and parochial schools, broadening your professional skills and experience.

Qualifications:
- Valid Connecticut SLP license (required)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Previous experience in school settings is preferred, including familiarity with IEP goals and documentation
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to manage a high school caseload and flexible enough to support out-of-district or parochial assignments
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and deliver evidence-based therapy to high school students
- Develop, implement, and track progress on individualized education plan (IEP) goals
- Communicate regularly with parents, teachers, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure student success
- Provide services and documentation for out-of-district and parochial students as assigned
- Maintain accurate records and adhere to all federal and state guidelines
