Pediatric School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Martin, Michigan

Work approximately 30 hours per week, taking on a 0.8 FTE schedule across four days. In this impactful position, you’ll support a diverse student population, from kindergarten through 8th grade, and collaborate with a committed team of educators and specialists.
Desired qualifications and experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid state licensure as an SLP
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Background working in school-based or pediatric settings
- Experience with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) preferred
- Passion for supporting student growth and communication
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Duties and responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect speech and language therapy services to students in grades K-8
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and ancillary staff to support student progress
- Conduct assessments, maintain documentation, and monitor student outcomes
- Offer consultation and support for AAC devices and strategies
- Adapt therapy plans and interventions based on student needs and progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student planning discussions
