Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state licensure as an SLP (or eligibility for licensure)
- Prior experience in a school-based setting is desirable
- Ability to independently conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver direct therapy
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with educators, students, and families
- Familiarity with IEP documentation and progress monitoring
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students in grades 2–4 in accordance with IEP goals
- Complete comprehensive speech/language assessments and contribute to evaluation meetings
- Document student progress and update IEPs, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations
- Work closely with classroom teachers and school staff to strategize and implement successful interventions
- Engage parents and guardians in the therapy process and provide resources as needed
- Participate in IEP meetings, team conferences, and professional development sessions
