Qualifications and Experience:
- Hold a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current state licensure as an SLP (CCC-SLP required)
- Previous experience working with school-aged children, especially in grades 2–4, preferred
- Familiarity with IEP process, assessments, and the implementation of school-based therapy goals
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with students, families, and educational teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments to identify student needs
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans and goals within the school setting
- Provide direct speech-language services, both one-on-one and in small groups, tailored to grade 2–4 learners
- Track progress, maintain accurate documentation, and address goals outlined in students’ IEPs
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and support staff to maximize the effectiveness of interventions
- Participate in team meetings, parent conferences, and contribute to ongoing student support plans
