Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure or eligibility as an SLP
- Prior experience working within school settings, particularly with elementary-aged children
- Strong understanding of IEP processes and educational documentation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop and implement individualized therapy plans
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy for students in grades 2-4
- Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and families to support student progress
- Assess, diagnose, and document student speech and language needs
- Develop individual education plans (IEPs) and maintain accurate records
- Offer strategies and resources to educators and families to enhance communication skills in classroom environments
- Participate in staff meetings, IEP discussions, and ongoing professional development
