School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Weaverville, North Carolina

This full-time role focuses on providing high-quality speech and language services for a caseload of 40–50 students, currently serving all students in Pre-K through 5th grade, with the potential to support Pre-K through 12th grade as needs arise. You'll enjoy a balanced schedule with 19.38 hours of direct student service and a total of 28.38 hours each week that includes indirect services such as documentation, planning, and team collaboration.
What you’ll bring:
- Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- State licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP in North Carolina
- Previous experience in school-based settings preferred
- Exceptional communication skills and a passion for working with children
- Ability to effectively manage a diverse caseload and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
What you’ll do:
- Deliver direct and indirect speech and language therapy to students in Pre-K to 5th grade
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized education program (IEP) goals based on student needs
- Maintain accurate documentation of services and progress
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to support student success
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Adapt services as necessary based on caseload changes and student needs across various age groups
