Desired Experience & Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
  • State licensure (or eligibility) to practice in North Carolina as an SLP
  • Experience with pediatric and school-based caseloads preferred
  • Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and virtual service delivery is a plus
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with children, educators, and families
  • Compassionate, solution-focused, and adaptable in a school environment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language therapy services to students in individual and group settings
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) and therapy goals
  • Conduct assessments, evaluate progress, and maintain timely, accurate documentation
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents to promote student achievement
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the overall well-being of the school community
  • Integrate technology and teletherapy tools to enhance student access and outcomes
