Key Qualifications:
- Active Minnesota SLP license required
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Previous experience in school settings, especially with preschool or early childhood special education (ECSE) populations
- Ability to conduct assessments, write reports, and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy to early childhood students ages 3-5
- Perform student evaluations and participate in eligibility and IEP meetings
- Collaborate with educators, staff, and families to support student progress
- Maintain thorough documentation and student records in compliance with district policies
- Adapt therapy approaches to meet individual student needs and foster developmental growth
- Provide 12 weeks of substitute coverage for a full-time SLP, beginning approximately September 7, 2026 through November 30, 2026
- Work onsite three days per week (Monday–Friday), totaling 22.5 hours weekly
