School Speech Language Pathologist - Maple Grove, MN
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as an Early Childhood Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2026-2027 school year! This position focuses on supporting young learners ages 3-5 in an Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) program near Maple Grove, MN, with services based in Blaine.
You'll work on-site, collaborating with educators and families to help students develop crucial communication skills that foster their growth and learning every day. The assignment is set to begin August 25, 2026, and will run through June 10, 2027, following a Monday through Friday schedule with a 37.5-hour workweek.
Key Qualifications:
- Minnesota SLP license (must be actively held and provided with resume)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
- Previous experience working with preschool/ECSE populations preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Ability to function effectively in a school team environment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech-language evaluations and develop individualized plans for ECSE students aged 3-5
- Deliver direct, high-quality speech and language therapy in group and one-on-one settings
- Document progress and maintain records in accordance with state and district guidelines
- Work closely with families, teachers, and support staff to implement and adjust intervention plans
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise regarding speech-language development
