School Speech Language Pathologist - Manor, Texas

A rewarding contract position is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist with experience in school settings. This opportunity runs from August 4, 2026, to May 27, 2027, and primarily serves one elementary campus. The typical schedule is from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, supporting students across grades EE through 5th. Caseloads are managed with an aim to remain under 65 students. Flexibility is built into the role, offering a hybrid arrangement—three days on-site and two days working from home. Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is required to best engage the diverse student population.
Qualifications/Experience Desired:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active SLP certification (CCC or eligible CFY)
- Experience working in school settings or with pediatric populations
- Comfortable managing a caseload of elementary-aged students
- Fluency in both Spanish and English, enabling effective communication with students and families
- Knowledge of special education procedures and IEP documentation
- Collaborative mindset and strong organizational skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans
- Participate in IEP meetings and coordinate with multidisciplinary team members
- Document progress and maintain accurate records
- Communicate regularly with teachers, parents, and staff to support student outcomes
- Provide services both on-site and via remote platforms, as needed
