A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for immediate placement, offering an opportunity to support K-4 students within a school setting. This travel assignment is based in Manassas, VA, and runs from ASAP through the End of School Year (EOSY), providing a consistent 40-hour workweek.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to students in grades K-4.
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and monitor student progress.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student communication goals.
- Provide teletherapy sessions when applicable to enhance accessibility and continuity of care.
- Complete required documentation and compliance reporting in accordance with school policies.
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Certification and licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).
- Experience in school-based speech-language pathology, preferably within K-4 caseloads.
- Familiarity with healthcare and pediatric speech therapy principles.
- Competence in delivering teletherapy services.
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) strongly preferred.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in a travel setting.
