Key Qualifications:
- Active Speech-Language Pathology license for the state of Virginia
- ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Prior experience delivering pediatric SLP services, particularly with elementary or middle school students
- Strong competence with teletherapy platforms and digital tools
- Exceptional communication and organizational abilities
- Comfortable managing a caseload of approximately 50 students
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough speech and language assessments in a virtual environment
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans for students
- Collaborate closely with educators, families, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
- Participate in team meetings as needed and contribute to IEP development
- Provide progress updates and maintain open lines of communication with stakeholders
