Speech Language Pathologist in Malvern, PA
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity making a meaningful impact as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist. This position offers the chance to support students’ communication growth in an engaging school environment beginning August 19th and continuing through December 23rd, with the potential to extend for the entire school year. Working Monday through Friday from 7:45 am to 3:30 pm, you'll collaborate with a supportive team and use your skills to guide a diverse caseload of approximately 45 students.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and active state licensure
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience in a school setting strongly preferred
- Expertise in developing and implementing IEPs and completing evaluations
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, families, and educational staff
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and documentation skills
- Enthusiastic about creating a positive, inclusive learning environment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students in accordance with their IEPs
- Conduct initial and ongoing assessments to develop individualized support plans
- Create comprehensive evaluation reports and lead IEP meetings as appropriate
- Work collaboratively with educators, staff, and parents to maximize student progress
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation for all services provided
- Adapt therapy techniques to meet the unique needs of each student
