ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist for a full-time contract opportunity in Madison, Illinois. This position offers a manageable caseload of approximately 23 students, primarily serving elementary-aged learners in a collaborative school district. The selected SLP will work across a small number of campuses located within blocks of one another, making travel between buildings quick and convenient. Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations, assessments, and screenings.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs.
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to primarily elementary-aged students.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, special education staff, and families to support student success.
- Participate in IEP meetings and maintain accurate documentation and progress reports.
- Travel between nearby school buildings as needed to provide services to approximately five students at additional campuses.
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as appropriate.
Qualifications:
- Active Illinois Speech-Language Pathologist license required.
- Professional Educator License (PEL) or eligibility to obtain one preferred.
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Licensing assistance available for qualified candidates.
Experience:
- Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred.
- Experience with IEPs, evaluations, and multidisciplinary collaboration is beneficial.
- New graduates meeting Illinois licensure requirements are encouraged to apply.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
