Step into a dynamic onsite contract role as a Bilingual Speech Language Pathologist, supporting students across a diverse, district-wide caseload for the 2026-2027 school year. In this role, you'll work from 8:45 am to 4 pm, Monday through Friday, for a total of 37.5 hours per week. Your expertise will be essential as you collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to create individualized therapy plans, conduct assessments, and deliver impactful interventions tailored to bilingual students’ unique needs.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Illinois Professional SLP License
- Illinois Educator Certification
- Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
- Fluency in English and another language (Spanish preferred)
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work effectively across disciplines and cultures
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide speech, language, and communication therapy to bilingual students with a variety of disabilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Conduct comprehensive student evaluations and progress reports
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student success
- Serve students district-wide, adapting services to a range of needs
- Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with district and state guidelines
