Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid SLP state licensure and certification appropriate for school settings
- Previous experience in a school environment, preferably with high school students
- Knowledge of IEP development, case management, and direct service delivery
- Strong collaboration and communication abilities with students, families, and staff
- Adaptability and organizational excellence for supporting students’ unique needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services in accordance with students’ IEP goals
- Assess, diagnose, and create individualized treatment plans for students with speech, language, and communication disorders
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, counselors, and other professionals to promote student success
- Participate in IEP meetings, document progress, and maintain accurate student records
- Deliver services in both individual and group settings, adjusting strategies based on student progress and feedback
- Foster a positive, supportive, and inclusive learning environment for all students
