Qualifications & Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility) to practice as an SLP
- Experience with adolescent/high school caseloads preferred
- Strong collaboration skills for working with educators, families, and support staff
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations to identify students’ speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to high schoolers
- Provide direct therapy to address articulation, fluency, voice, language, and social communication goals
- Document progress, prepare reports, and maintain accurate student records
- Participate in IEP meetings, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Offer guidance and resources to staff and families regarding communication strategies
- Create an inclusive, supportive atmosphere where students feel empowered to reach their potential
