Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist in Lugoff, SC
Make an impact supporting K-8th grade students as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist working just 1-2 days per week, with flexible scheduling. Desired Qualifications:
- Active SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), or eligibility to complete CFY
- Experience in school-based, pediatric, or healthcare SLP settings
- Comfortable providing services via in-person or teletherapy models
- Expertise addressing articulation and fluency; experience with students on the autism spectrum is a plus
- Strong organizational, collaboration, and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct therapy for a caseload of roughly 12 speech-only students, with clear documentation and progress monitoring
- Complete 1-2 student evaluations as needed
- Create individualized therapy plans for students, targeting speech, articulation, and fluency, with minimal behavioral issues to manage
- Collaborate and consult with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student progress
- Provide accessible therapy across K-8th grade levels
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute recommendations for goals and strategies
