Desired Experience & Skills:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Experience working with pediatric populations, ideally within a school or virtual/teletherapy environment
- Comfort with assessment and intervention for articulation and fluency disorders
- Ability to engage and support students on the autism spectrum
- Strong organizational and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy for approximately 12 students needing speech-only services (total caseload up to 15)
- Complete 1-2 evaluations as needed for new referrals
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focusing on articulation and fluency
- Maintain thorough documentation and collaborate with educators and families, without the need for Medicaid billing
- Utilize teletherapy or in-person modalities to accommodate student needs and schedules
