Desired Experience & Skills:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
  • Experience working with pediatric populations, ideally within a school or virtual/teletherapy environment
  • Comfort with assessment and intervention for articulation and fluency disorders
  • Ability to engage and support students on the autism spectrum
  • Strong organizational and communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct therapy for approximately 12 students needing speech-only services (total caseload up to 15)
  • Complete 1-2 evaluations as needed for new referrals
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focusing on articulation and fluency
  • Maintain thorough documentation and collaborate with educators and families, without the need for Medicaid billing
  • Utilize teletherapy or in-person modalities to accommodate student needs and schedules
