Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Speech Language Pathologist license through the Georgia Speech Pathology Board
- Hold a Professional Certificate from Georgia Professional Standards Commission (GaPSC) as required by GaPSC Rule 505-2.148
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
- Prior experience in school settings preferred, especially remote or virtual delivery
- Strong communication skills, tech proficiency, and ability to collaborate virtually with multidisciplinary teams
Responsibilities:
- Deliver assessment, intervention, and therapy services virtually
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports for each student
- Develop, implement, and review Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Liaise with parents, teachers, and related service providers to maximize student growth
- Participate in meetings, trainings, and consultations as required by the district
