Key Qualifications:
- Active Speech Language Pathologist license from the Georgia Speech Pathology Board
- Professional certificate from the Georgia Professional Standards Commission per Rule 505-2.148
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Recent experience delivering services in a school environment, preferably K-12
- Strong virtual communication and documentation skills
- Excellent organizational abilities and adaptability
- Passion for advocating for students’ communication needs
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech-language evaluations and write comprehensive reports
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) with clear, achievable speech-language goals
- Deliver engaging teletherapy services to a diverse caseload of students
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support academic and social success
- Monitor progress, update goals, and document interventions according to school and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings (virtually) and contribute expertise to multidisciplinary teams
- Stay current with best practices and teletherapy technology
