Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Jesup, GA
Join a dynamic virtual team supporting K-12 students as a Speech-Language Pathologist for the upcoming school year. You’ll play a critical role in helping students communicate and learn, servicing a moderate caseload while collaborating with families and the school’s educational staff. This contract opportunity offers a full-time schedule, running from early August through late May, and provides you the flexibility to work remotely.
Qualifications:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist license issued by the Georgia Speech Pathology Board
- Professional Certificate from the Georgia Professional Standards Commission per GaPSC Rule 505-2.148
- Completion of a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Experience delivering SLP services in school settings preferred
- Comfortable utilizing online therapy platforms and technology for virtual service delivery
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for students with a variety of speech and language needs according to IEP goals
- Maintain accurate evaluation and treatment records in compliance with district and state regulations
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and caregivers to develop and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Participate in virtual team meetings, evaluations, and conferences as needed
- Stay current with best practices in teletherapy and Georgia school-based SLP requirements
