Qualifications:

  • SLP licensure and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
  • Prior experience (or comfort with) school-based SLP or teletherapy preferred
  • Ability to supervise and guide SLPAs
  • Familiarity with K-12 student needs, IEP processes, and case documentation

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and mentor an SLPA, providing observation hours and guidance
  • Manage a caseload of approximately 70 students (K-12), primarily focusing on articulation and language concerns
  • Conduct evaluations and assessments for students
  • Oversee IEP development, implementation, and compliance
  • Coordinate communication and services with school teams
