Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Hold or be eligible for relevant state licensure/certification
- Experience evaluating and treating speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in children and adolescents
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within interdisciplinary school teams
- Previous school-based SLP experience preferred, though not required
- Comfortable working with a diverse caseload spanning elementary, middle, and high school levels
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and deliver individualized therapy for students
- Develop IEP goals and maintain accurate, timely documentation
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and other team members to support student growth
- Consult with parents and caregivers, providing updates on progress and strategies for success at home
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student-centered planning
- Adapt interventions to meet the varying needs of each student
- Assist with prevention programs and provide education regarding communication disorders within the school community
