Middle School Elementary School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Warren, Ohio

Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure or eligibility as an SLP
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred (CFY applicants also encouraged to apply)
- Previous experience within a school setting is highly favored
- Knowledge of IEP development and progress monitoring
- Comfortable collaborating with teachers, administrators, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of students’ speech, language, and communication abilities
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and therapeutic interventions
- Lead small group and one-on-one sessions for students in elementary, middle, and high school
- Maintain accurate, compliant documentation of progress, services, and outcomes
- Attend and contribute to multidisciplinary and IEP team meetings
- Offer guidance and consultation to faculty, staff, and caregivers to enhance student outcomes
- Stay current with best practices and state/federal regulations in school-based speech therapy
