Desired Skills & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Current SLP licensure (Ohio or eligible for reciprocity)
- Preferred: Previous experience in a school-based setting
- Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation
- Ability to work effectively with students from varying grade levels and backgrounds
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Comfort working both independently and as part of a collaborative team
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for students with speech, language, and communication disorders
- Deliver therapy services to students in elementary, middle, and high school
- Attend and participate in IEP meetings, providing input to educational planning
- Maintain accurate records and progress notes in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Partner with teachers, families, and support staff to maximize student success
- Provide consultation and resources for staff and parents as needed
