Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current SLP license valid in Ohio (or ability to obtain prior to start)
- Prior experience in a school-based setting strongly preferred
- Ability to work effectively with students across elementary, middle, and high school levels
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Genuine enthusiasm for helping students overcome speech, language, or communication challenges
Core Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and assess students for speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment and intervention programs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports according to school requirements
- Participate in student support meetings, IEP development, and team consultations
- Foster a supportive and inclusive environment where every student is empowered to reach their potential
