Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active licensure as an SLP in New Mexico (or eligibility to obtain)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; clinical fellows may be considered
- Prior experience working in a school or pediatric setting, especially with elementary students
- Solid communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech and language therapy services to elementary students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families
- Document progress, maintain student records, and participate in assessment meetings
- Consult with teachers, families, and staff for effective intervention strategies
- Foster a positive, inclusive environment that supports diverse student needs
