A full-semester contract opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide essential services within a K-12 school setting in Albuquerque, NM. This position focuses primarily on elementary-level students and offers a dynamic work environment across multiple school sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments, evaluations, and progress monitoring for a caseload of 40-45 students, predominantly at the elementary level.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs.
- Collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student communication goals.
- Manage caseload across 2-3 school sites, ensuring consistent and timely service delivery.
- Maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with district and state regulations.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license or certification appropriate for the state of New Mexico.
- Demonstrated experience working with K-12 student populations, especially in school settings.
- Ability to manage a moderately sized caseload efficiently while balancing responsibilities across multiple locations.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of best practices in speech-language pathology and familiarity with school-based procedures.
Location: Albuquerque, New Mexico
Contract Duration: November 2025 through May 2026 (Full Semester)
