Ideal candidates bring a passion for speech-language pathology and experience working in school environments. You'll assess, diagnose, and treat students with a range of communication disorders, tailoring your approach to help each child reach their goals.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid and current SLP licensure
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA, or pursuing Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Prior experience in school settings is highly preferred
- Strong understanding of IEP process
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings and comprehensive speech/language assessments
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on IEP requirements
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and services provided
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other support professionals
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on student performance and goals
- Monitor and adjust therapies as needed to maximize student development
