Make a real difference in students’ communication skills as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2026-2027 school year. This onsite opportunity supports learners from elementary through high school, working across a range of disabilities from mild to severe. Full-time hours follow a Monday through Friday schedule with consistent seven-hour days.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid Washington State Speech-Language Pathologist Certification required
- SLP-CCC credential strongly preferred
- Experience providing speech services within a school setting (elementary, middle, or high school)
- Comfort working with students with a variety of communication needs related to diverse disabilities
- Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and organizational abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group speech-language therapy to students with a variety of needs and diagnoses
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and contribute to IEP development
- Collaborate with school staff, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation according to school and state requirements
- Provide guidance on speech-language development and support classroom staff with strategies and accommodations
- Participate in staff and team meetings, both virtually and in-person as required
