School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Longmont, Colorado

Make a difference in students’ lives by supporting their communication and academic success for the 2024-2025 school year. This contract opportunity runs from August 4th through May 21st, 2027, offering a 0.6 FTE (24 hours per week) schedule within a collaborative, onsite educational setting. Your exact weekly hours will be coordinated with school leadership for optimal workflow and work-life balance.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active or pending CDE license (mandatory, no SLPA’s considered)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
- At least one year of experience working within a classroom environment
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Dedication to fostering inclusive, supportive learning spaces for diverse students
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language assessments, interventions, and direct therapy services to students in a secondary school setting
- Develop and implement IEPs in close consultation with multidisciplinary teams and families
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school, state, and federal guidelines
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and administrators to support student progress and service delivery
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and ongoing team communication
