Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active California SLP license
- ASHA CCC or eligibility to begin/complete CFY
- Experience or interest in school settings
- Strong communication and organizational abilities
- Passion for helping children overcome communication barriers
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess students with speech, language, and communication challenges
- Develop and deliver individualized education and therapy plans
- Collaborate effectively with teachers, support staff, and families
- Monitor progress, maintain records, and document outcomes
- Deliver both individual and group therapy using evidence-based practices
- Participate in IEP meetings to assist in developing student goals
- Adapt strategies to meet the diverse needs of learners
