Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity as a full-time Speech Language Pathologist for the 2026/2027 school year, working with students in a vibrant setting near Livonia, MI. As a valued member of the team, you will leverage your expertise in pediatric speech-language pathology—whether seasoned with your CCC or working towards your CFY—to support and empower students. You'll collaborate closely with educators and families, enhancing students' communication skills and making a lasting difference.
What You’ll Bring:
- Active Michigan SLP license (or eligibility)
- ASHA CCCs preferred, but strong CFs are encouraged to apply
- Familiarity with school-based, healthcare, and pediatric populations
- Commitment to evidence-based practice and supportive, inclusive services
- Excellent communication and collaborative skills with children, staff, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide direct and indirect speech-language therapy in educational settings
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress monitoring
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and participate in IEP meetings
- Educate and support teachers and parents to maximize student outcomes
