Qualifications:
- Active Colorado Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license (CCC required)
- Previous experience in school-based settings highly valued
- Strong understanding of K-8 developmental and educational needs
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and families
- Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy services to students in kindergarten through 8th grade within the school district
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals
- Monitor student progress and adapt interventions to support growth
- Work closely with special education teams, parents, and classroom teachers to offer interventions and recommendations
- Maintain up-to-date records and participate actively in IEP meetings
- Provide support and strategies to school personnel and caregivers
Position Details:
- 24 hours per week, Monday through Friday schedule
- Caseload will involve a diverse range of students with varying needs; specific numbers and details to be shared following application
