Key Qualifications:
- Active SLP license required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) preferred
- Experience working with school-aged children, especially within elementary settings
- Knowledge of assessment tools, intervention strategies, and IEP process within school systems
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration abilities
Responsibilities Include:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to elementary students
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and assess individual student needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEPs
- Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families to address students’ communication challenges
- Maintain thorough documentation and timely progress reporting
- Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings and provide consultation as needed
