Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Palmdale, CA
Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting PreK through 8th grade students for the 2026/2027 school year as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist. Work full time, Monday through Friday, with a weekly commitment of 37.5 hours or more. Desired Qualifications:
- Current licensure and certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience working in school-based settings preferred
- Familiarity with PreK–8th grade student populations
- Ability to travel between 2-3 local school sites as needed
- Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills

Role Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services for students on your caseload
- Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine student needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
- Maintain detailed documentation in accordance with district and state requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute as a valued member of interdisciplinary teams
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices
