Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Colorado SLP License required
- ASHA Certification (CCC) necessary
- CDE Certification required for school-based practice
- Experience in conducting assessments and developing intervention plans
- Skilled in facilitating and participating in IEP meetings
- Strong communication, documentation, and time management abilities
- New graduates with required credentials are encouraged to apply; supervision provided for Clinical Fellowship Year placements
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete comprehensive speech and language assessments for students from PreK through 12th grade
- Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans in alignment with IEP goals
- Deliver direct and indirect therapy services, adapting approaches to meet diverse student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation per school and legal requirements
- Contribute actively to IEP meetings, providing expertise and advocacy for students
