Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current SLP license and eligibility to practice in Indiana
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Previous experience working in schools, especially with early childhood or PreK-K populations, is highly desirable
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Must be able to work onsite; virtual work is not permitted
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to PreK and Kindergarten students within the school community
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and develop individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to each student’s unique needs
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary team members to promote academic and social success
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in accordance with school and district guidelines
- Provide training and resources to classroom educators to support carryover of speech and language strategies
