Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Valid state licensure as an SLP (or eligibility)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, CFY considered
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting is highly desirable
- Proficiency in evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of speech/language disorders
- Strong communication, organization, and team collaboration abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess students for speech, language, and communication needs using standardized tools and observation
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to student goals and IEP requirements
- Deliver direct therapy services and monitor progress, adjusting interventions as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation, write progress reports, and participate in IEP meetings
- Work closely with teachers, parents, and support staff to foster student success in both academic and social settings
- Provide consultation and strategies to classroom staff to support student communication skills across learning environments
