Key Qualifications:
- Current, active Speech-Language Pathologist license in Pennsylvania (SLP-CCC required)
- Documented experience in school-based SLP roles, with expertise supporting diverse populations and behavioral needs
- Commitment to attend all scheduled dates and participate in mandatory orientation and training
- Reside within 35 minutes of assigned school sites, with reliable transportation
- Thorough understanding of PA DOE credentialing processes and timelines (approx. 14 days)
- Genuine comfort working with students that present moderate to severe needs and behavioral challenges
- Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
- Unable to accept SLP-CFs or SLPAs for this role
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative speech-language services aligned with students’ Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with classroom educators and related service providers
- Complete timely evaluations, progress monitoring, and documentation
- Attend required training (June 24–25), with program dates from June 29 to July 30, Monday-Thursday, 8:00 AM–3:00 PM
- Be flexible regarding site and classroom placements based on student enrollment and needs
