Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid SLP licensure for North Carolina or eligibility to obtain
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong CFY candidates will be considered
  • Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with school-based processes and IEP documentation is highly valued
  • Ability to collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists to create positive student outcomes

Core Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Develop, implement, and review individualized treatment plans
  • Provide direct and consultative therapy services to students as outlined in IEPs
  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
  • Participate in multi-disciplinary meetings and provide valuable input on student progress
  • Offer staff and parent training focused on supporting speech and language development within the classroom and at home
