Qualifications & Desired Experience

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Active state licensure (as required for SLPs in educational settings)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, though Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates will also be considered
  • Relevant pediatric or school-based SLP experience is highly valued
  • Strong clinical skills for assessment, development, and implementation of IEPs
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities

Role Responsibilities

  • Deliver speech-language assessments, develop individualized intervention plans, and document progress
  • Serve as a key member of student IEP teams, collaborating with teachers, specialists, and families
  • Adapt and implement evidence-based strategies for students in both cognitive disability and autism support programs
  • Maintain thorough records in compliance with district and legal guidelines
  • Consistently engage in professional growth to best support a diverse population of learners
