Qualifications & Desired Experience
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active state licensure (as required for SLPs in educational settings)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, though Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates will also be considered
- Relevant pediatric or school-based SLP experience is highly valued
- Strong clinical skills for assessment, development, and implementation of IEPs
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
Role Responsibilities
- Deliver speech-language assessments, develop individualized intervention plans, and document progress
- Serve as a key member of student IEP teams, collaborating with teachers, specialists, and families
- Adapt and implement evidence-based strategies for students in both cognitive disability and autism support programs
- Maintain thorough records in compliance with district and legal guidelines
- Consistently engage in professional growth to best support a diverse population of learners
