Key Requirements and Preferred Experience:
- Active Missouri SLP or SLPA license required
- Experience working in school settings with elementary-aged children
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred for SLP applicants
- Ability to manage a varied caseload, including general education, special education, and support in cross-categorical and FIT classrooms
- Commitment to fostering communication skills and social development in a collaborative setting
Position Highlights and Responsibilities:
- Serve a caseload of 37 students with direct services, as well as consults and pending evaluations
- Deliver therapy and support for 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 5th grade, kindergarten, and students in specialized programs
- Lead an in-class language group every Tuesday in the FIT classroom, promoting language enrichment for older students
- Participate in school routines, including car rider duty in the mornings and dismissal duties for second grade and kindergarten ball field walkers
- Collaborate closely with educators and family members to maximize student progress
- Full-time hours from 8:50 AM to 4:25 PM accommodate a consistent weekday schedule
