School Speech Language Pathologist - Laurel, Maryland

Exciting opportunities are available for dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists who are passionate about making a positive impact in school settings. This contract position offers the flexibility to combine schedules for a full-time experience, working with diverse student populations across high school, elementary, and middle school environments. Multiple immediate openings are available with start dates as soon as possible, extending through June 2027.
Current schedules include:
- Wilde Lake High School: 4 days/week, with 1 day presently at a middle school; plans to increase to 5 days at the high school.
- Forest Ridge Elementary: 4 days/week, with 1 day currently at a middle school; aiming for a full 5 days at the elementary school.
- Hammond Middle School: 3 days/week.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Maryland SLP license required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) strongly preferred; Clinical Fellows will be considered
- Experience delivering speech-language services in educational settings
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Must be available to work onsite only
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough speech-language assessments and evaluations
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Provide direct therapy to students with diverse speech and language needs
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student progress
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
