School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Laurel, Maryland

Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology (or eligibility to obtain)
- ASHA CCCs preferred, though CF applicants will be considered
- Prior experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is desirable
- Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to a diverse caseload of students
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and track progress
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, educators, and families to achieve student goals
- Maintain thorough records in compliance with state and district policies
- Participate in team meetings and consult with staff regarding communication disorders
- Foster a supportive, inclusive environment that promotes student confidence
