Key Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Valid SLP license required; candidates willing to pursue California licensure are encouraged to apply
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) strongly preferred
- Previous school-based experience, especially with early childhood populations, is highly desirable
- Collaborative spirit with effective written and verbal communication skills
- Commitment to evidence-based practices and professional growth
- Ability to adapt therapeutic approaches to meet the needs of diverse learners
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of speech, language, and communication disorders for PreK and Kindergarten students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in partnership with multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain thorough documentation and monitor student progress toward therapy goals
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to maximize student success
- Attend IEP meetings and professional development opportunities as required
This is an onsite role for the academic year, with a consistent weekly schedule and a manageable caseload of approximately 25-35 young learners. Be a driving force in helping children discover their voice and develop lifelong communication skills.
