Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid SLP license or eligibility for California licensure (out-of-state candidates eager to obtain CA credentials are welcome!)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Experience with school-based caseloads, especially working with early childhood or elementary populations
- Exceptional communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Positive, energetic approach with a commitment to helping young children thrive
What You'll Do:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy to PreK and Kindergarten students
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and assessments to identify communication needs
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with faculty and families
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to support generalization of skills
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports to track student growth
- Participate in IEP meetings, staff development, and ongoing school initiatives
