Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Esparto, CA
Make a difference in young children’s lives by providing speech-language support in a collaborative school setting for the upcoming academic year. This contract position is dedicated to serving PreK and Kindergarten students, and requires a skilled, compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) excited to work onsite and help children reach important communication milestones.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current SLP license (or willingness to apply for California licensure if out-of-state)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Experience working with school-aged students, preferably early childhood (PreK or Kindergarten)
- Strong understanding of school-based therapy procedures and IEP implementation
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language services to a caseload of approximately 25-35 PreK and Kindergarten students
- Complete assessments, develop IEP goals, and track student progress
- Provide direct therapy aligned with individual education plans
- Collaborate with classroom staff and families to support student success
- Document reports and maintain thorough, timely records in accordance with school requirements
- Attend relevant meetings to advocate for students and contribute to team planning
