This contract position is located near Rockville, MD, offering a great temp-to-perm pathway with a supportive and collaborative work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy services to students with primarily mild special education needs
- Manage a small caseload to deliver personalized and effective therapy sessions
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support student progress and development
- Implement individualized treatment plans and document progress accurately
- Utilize teletherapy methods when applicable to enhance service delivery
Qualifications:
- Valid SLP license with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Experience in pediatric, school, or healthcare speech therapy settings
- Current or recently completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) is an asset
- Effective communication and teamwork skills for interdisciplinary collaboration
- Ability to manage a small caseload efficiently and adapt therapy approaches as needed
Position Details:
- Location: Near Rockville, MD, in a single-site school setting
- Schedule: 15 hours per week with the potential for increased hours
